* Send hair supplies to school with your child if quick touch-ups will be needed *
* Have a conversation with your student ahead of time regarding personal grooming *​

* Use the mirror and wipes to check your face for food, dirt, and other muck *

The dates listed below are scheduled in advance based on best estimates of usual turnaround times.
Any changes to these dates will be updated here, and communicated with school administration.

* November 15th: Print packages delivered to the school by this date *

Will all of the students be photographed on photo day?

All students in attendance will be part of the class and all-school photos.
Only the students who have a pre-order for photos will participate in individual photos. 


What is the cost? 

A single pose with the digital download is $26 per student. 
A multi-pose package with the digital downloads is $52 per student.
You will need to purchase one of the above options prior to photo day in order to participate. 
After the photos are loaded to the gallery, you will be able to purchase additional prints if you like, starting at $14.

What time will photos be done at?

The exact time for photos is not set, however will be working to have all photos done in the morning.


How many poses are in the multi-pose package? 

The number of images will depend on the child. I aim for 4-5 images, but for some children it may only be 2-3 if they are feeling camera shy. 
If you purchase a multi-pose package and your child is feeling done after a single photo, we can try again on the second photo day, or I can convert your payment overage to a print credit.

If I purchase the single pose option, will I get to choose the pose? 

No. If you choose the single pose option, I will only be photographing one pose. If you would like more than one pose, please choose the multi-pose option.

What will the images look like? 

We will be working with the natural environment of the school and schoolgrounds. Ideally, the weather will be lovely and we will be able to make use of the field behind the school as we did last year. If it is very cold, rainy, or windy we will likely postpone. As we are working with a wide range of developmental stages and personalities, I can't guarantee what your child's specific image is going to look like. My goal is to have them feeling relaxed and comfortable. If you have additional questions about this, don't hesitate to reach out prior to booking.


Do you do touch-ups on images? 

I will remove small temporary skin blemishes that distract from the image. If I'm unsure if a spot is a bug bite or a permanent mark, I will leave it. Feel free to reach out if I've missed something. 
I will not be editing frizzy hair, wrinkled clothes, food on faces, etc as part of standard editing. I do not edit birth marks, freckles, moles, vitiligo, etc on children.


What if my child is away that day?

If you have planned holidays on photo day, I'm sorry that we will miss you! Please do not book in if you plan to be away that week. 
If your child is away due to illness on October 2nd, we will cross our fingers that they are well and back to school on retakes day. If they are still unwell on that day, your order will be refunded.


Will retakes be available? ​

If your child has an off day and photos just don't go well for them, you can expect to hear from me directly so that we can make a plan for retakes day. 
If you forgot to book in a haircut, sent your child in the wrong outfit, etc I can still offer retakes but there will be an additional fee. 
If you receive your image gallery and you are truly unhappy with the images, do NOT download them! Contact me directly so that we can discuss. Once you have downloaded your images, retakes will incur a new booking fee. 


What happens if I book but photo day is cancelled?

If photo day needs to be cancelled due to force majeure or circumstances on my end, all pre-order purchases will be refunded in full.


How will my child's images be used? 

That's up to you! When you order, you'll be prompted to fill out image use permissions. This will allow you to provide me with permission to use your child's likeness. You can also opt to have these images kept private. Until I have consent from you, my default is to keep images private.

What happens if I miss the print order deadline or forget to download my images?

Your image downloads will be available for three months. Please download them and back them up to an independent media source. Requests for archive retrieval after three months are not guaranteed and may incur a fee. 
Print orders after the group order deadline may incur additional fees as well as shipping fees.
